Beam Load cells for On-Board weighing systems



With overload and shock load protection of up to 1000% of rated full scale capacity,  these load cells don't require the fancy mounting hardware other technologies do.

 On-board weighing has always been interesting for trucking companies.  Load balancing, protection against overload, maximum loading to reduce trip cycles all make on-board weighing a processing dream.  Unfortunately, until now you had either low accuracy hydraulic transducers, that kind of gave you a weight, or strain gage sensors that were suseptible to damage from shock and loading abuse.  With capacitiance load cells both problems are resolved.  With over 1000+ installations throughout Europe, this is a proven, effective answer to weigh control on the fly.

The SD-series beam cell is an easy to install, hermetically sealed load cell ideal for heavy washdown installations.  The cell is available from 5-kg (10-lb size) to 1000-kg (2200-lb) capacities.  Update rate is high speed and so these would be ideal load cells for in-line conveyor check-weighers.

Again, simple installations make for easy installs in existing equipment

Simple and quick installations

 Capacitance load cells systems are less suseptible to shock and transient damage then strain-gage products are.  With overload protection up to 1000% of rated capacity, much less sophesticated mounting structures are necessary, saving you time, money and complexity.  Imagine how easy clean up is without flexures, stayrods, checkrods, or bumper bolts.  Occassionally, anti-lift devices are necessary, and can be provided as part of a package.
